Terms of Use

Welcome to the language resources repository website of the Saarland University CLARIN Centre. By accessing the resources and using the services, the user agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Data Access

CLARIND-UdS provides language resources under many different licences. The licence details are spelled out on the landing page and in the metadata records of the individual resources. The repository users agrees to respect the licences for the resources they access.

The access to the metadata is always free.

The user agrees to adhere to The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.


The copyright and other intellectual property rights belong to the creators of the individual resources. The repository has the right to store the resource and to grant access to it according to the conditions set by the rights holders. The depositor is the one responsible for taking care of IPR issues before publishing digital resources by submitting these to the repository.

Citing Data

Data users must acknowledge and cite data sources properly in all publications and outputs.

To cite a resource you should refer to its handle (a persistent identifier) instead of an URL. For example, a reference to GRUG can look like:
