Product

CroCo-Meta is a Java implemented GUI which provides an easy way (for Windows and Linux) for the storage of metainformation.
This way annotating the header is facilitated, since information is presented as fields of a form.

When running the executable file crocometa.bat/crocometa.sh, a formular pops up in which an annotator or linguist can fill in or select the appropiate entry.
This means that the annotator does not need to work with XML files in which multiple embedding of elements may occur.
Furthermore, the presetting of the possible entry choices makes the annotatation process faster and diminishes the error rate.

License

LICENSER grants USER a non-exclusive license to use CroCo-Meta, version 1.0. USER agrees

to use CroCo-Meta only for non-commercial, non-profit research purposes;
to report changes that USER makes to the programs to LICENSER;
and to acknowledge the use of CroCo-Meta in all publications reporting on results produced with the help of CroCo-Meta.

Use of CroCo-Meta or products derived from CroCo-Meta for any commercial purposes requires explicit written agreement of LICENSER.

Non-Disclosure

CroCo-Meta will be held in confidence by USER and will not be disclosed by USER to third parties.

USER shall and will employ all necessary precautions to ensure that no persons or institutions other than persons as are in the employ of USER or in the same research project as USER will get access to CroCo-Meta or parts thereof. Other persons or institutions desiring access to CroCo-Meta should be directed to LICENSER to obtain separate licence agreements.

Fee

This license is granted by LICENSER to USER free of charge.
